Paula Zimmermann was born in Cambridge in 1950, and left school without any qualifications or expectations. At the age of 39 she decided that there was more to life and began studying at the Peterborough Regional College.
After 5 years part time study she gained four G.C.S.Es and four A levels and went to Scarborough University College to study painting, ceramics and art history. She graduated with a B.A.(Hons) in 1998.
Paula has exhibited widely not only in Yorkshire but also further afield with Thompsons Gallery in London and Aldborough, the Media Centre in London, the Circle Gallery in Edinburgh, Tracey MacNee Gallery in Glasgow, the Glasgow Art Fair and other galleries in Peterborough, Stamford and Oxford.
